About

My name is Richard Martin, and this blog serves as a repository of information relevant to my Theology classes at Cardinal Gibbons High School in Raleigh, NC. I teach a sophomore Scripture class (I’ve taught scripture for 11 years now), and a senior elective Philosophy & Religion class (soon to be called ‘Foundations of the Christian Worldview’; this is my 4th semester teaching this class). I am also the moderator of the Gibbons Theology Roundtable, a club for philosophically- and theologically-minded students at CGHS, led by the precocious intellect of junior Marcus Gibson. Before teaching at CGHS, I taught at Christian Brothers High School in Memphis, TN, for 6 years, and I had the privilege to serve as chair of the Religion and Ethics department there for 2 years.
